I am deeply passionate about making vegetables easier to cook and more exciting to eat, especially for busy families. These green beans are one of my favorite examples of how frozen vegetables can absolutely become a crave-worthy side dish with almost no effort. The bacon, onions, and roasting transform them into something that tastes way more complicated than it actually is.
This recipe also fits perfectly into the way I cook for a large family. Frozen green beans are inexpensive, always available, and don’t go bad in the produce drawer while life gets chaotic. I can throw this together quickly while protein reheats or dinner finishes, and suddenly we have a vegetable on the table that everyone is genuinely excited about.
